Scrappy Moms Challenge...

It's finally COLD here in New Mexico!!
Yesterday we stayed home and enjoyed some beef stew, I didn't think it would EVER be cool enough to cuddle with my blankie and enjoy some of my favorite stew again...
I had fun creating this cute little Snow Globe card for the Terrific Tuesday Challenge over at the Scrappy Moms blog...
the challenge this week was to create a card or a project using the Doodle Charms Cricut Cartridge and I created this card using my Gypsy...Yay!!
I am having a BLAST with my Gypsy...
Isn't he cute?

I created an actual snow globe using the packaging from some scrapbooking tape and then I added snow (Diamond Dust)...
I stamped this adorable snowman and then I paper pieced his scarf and mittens
Oh!!! and the sentiment comes from the Scrappy Moms
"Winter Wishes" stamp set

for the inside...I kept it simple, just stamped the sentiment using a Stampin Up stamp and I created a base using some patterned paper

I hope you like my "Snow Globe"...
Have a Blessed Weekend!!

  1. He's absolutely adorable! When I did Craft Shows I made a goofy little Snowman Doll that held a sign with that sentiment on it. He was my biggest seller! So fun!
Okay now, when you say it's "cold" in New Mexico...how cold are you talking? lol Not like Canadian "cold" right? haha Stew is one of my favorite things about winter. For some reason I never make it in summer...weird, huh?
Oh dear, sorry I'm so chatty! Have a JOYFUL weekend, Lilly! :o)
